How to use at home
Read it slowly and use a softer voice as you go. Pause to ask, “What helps you feel calm?” or “Where do you feel calm in your body?” You can also pair the book with a simple calming activity, like breathing slowly, squeezing a soft toy, lying under a blanket, or sitting quietly together for a few moments.
